About
The organization sought to foster a space to learn and grow together as a community and to empower artists and advocates through intersectional representation and visibility. As the President and former Director of Design, I was able to spearhead the HOMEROOM rebrand and website revamp, as well as create social media posts, merchandise designs, magazine spreads, and creative direction.

Brand Identity
After a year of inactivity, the HOMEROOM officers aimed to kick off the 2022–2023 year on a strong note. With this goal in mind, I revamped the brand logo and introduced new brand colors and typography to reflect the whimsical and playful essence of HOMEROOM. As a safe space for individuals of Asian descent to create, experiment, and learn, HOMEROOM prioritized inclusivity and innovation. Accordingly, I ensured that the branding portrayed HOMEROOM as a space unafraid to take risks while maintaining a sense of self-awareness.

Website Rebuild
One of the key projects I undertook was the overhaul and ongoing management of HOMEROOM’s website and blog. Initiated in Winter 2023, I spearheaded a complete redesign to align with HOMEROOM’s refreshed brand identity, a process I continued through regular updates and maintenance. The revamped website embodied the vibrant, playful, and experimental essence synonymous with HOMEROOM. My primary aim was to create a platform that not only showcased the outstanding contributions of our editorial team but also captured the joyful and lighthearted spirit inherent to the club.
